Young Explorers Workshops

Young Explorers Workshops teach young students the basic principles of art and technology as they create their own rudimentary video games, animations, robotics, and more. Whether your child figures out every trick in a particular video game, expresses creativity through arts and crafts, or just wants to know how things work, these workshops are sure to inspire as well as excite!

Location

Young Explorer Workshops are one-week workshops at Overlake Christian Church's campus (9900 Willows Rd NE, Redmond, WA 98052).

Young Explorers Summer Workshops run in one-week sessions, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  Lunch and snacks are included and provided daily. (Lunch menu available in June.)  We also offer After-Workshop Activities, which are free and optional, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  

 

Workshop schedules for 2018 are still being finalized. Please check back in December for Summer 2018 course offerings and dates!

Tuition

  • Total cost: $699

Tuition includes $195 non-refundable deposit and registration fee, all materials, daily lunch, snacks, and optional After-Workshop Activities.

Registrations are not processed until deposit is paid. Registrations after April 30, 2018 must be accompanied by the full workshop tuition in order to secure a seat.

DigiPen's ProjectFUN offers workshops, camps and college prep courses for kids and teens. Technology courses are held in Redmond, WA (near Seattle and Bellevue), and online.
