It takes more than an interesting idea to create a modern 3D video game. Game development teams require highly skilled programmers, artists, and designers — all of whom must work together to bring their creative vision to life. Building on the 2D game development principles covered in the first level of this course, students will learn advanced technical and creative techniques to tackle challenges as they produce their own 3D games.
This course is open to students entering Grades 4 through 7.
Students must have completed Junior 2D Game Development to enroll in this workshop.
Junior Workshop hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m – 3:30 p.m. Students should arrive no more than 30 minutes prior to the start of class. There are free optional after-workshop activities most days from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm.*
