Summer Programs At a Glance

ProjectFUN's Summer Programs offer exciting learning experiences for students of all ages. These courses introduce students to a variety of fun and engaging topics in video game programming, art and animation, game design, engineering, and sound and music design — all while reinforcing their knowledge of core academic subjects like math, physics, art, and writing.

Students learn and create under the guidance of ProjectFUN's talented teaching staff, working alongside other students in their age group to complete hands-on projects that reinforce key concepts and encourage personal expression.

Workshop highlights:

  • ProjectFUN Instructors are predominantly highly trained DigiPen undergraduate and graduate students with a passion for the interactive media and entertainment industries. Many instructors are former ProjectFUN students themselves!
  • Lunch and snacks are provided daily to all Summer Workshop participants. All meals are peanut free.
  • After-Workshop Activities are offered from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.* most days. Activities include traditional games, video game tournaments, and trivia nights.
  • A Final Showcase on the last Friday of each session gives students the chance to show off their projects to the friends, family, and peers.

*After-Workshop Activities are from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. for participants in the Young Explorers Workshops and Junior Workshops.
