Junior Programming Level 1

This course teaches the fundamentals of Java programming and how following good practices results in solid code. Topics covered include variables, conditional statements, looping and iteration, and arrays. Students use new knowledge of these core concepts to create a series of simple computer games, while learning high-level programming languages and basic programming concepts, coding standards, and programming for games.


This course is open to students in Grades 4 through 7.

The tuition for Junior Programming Level 1 is $595 per 16-week session. A $195 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining $400 must be paid by the registration deadline.

DigiPen's ProjectFUN offers workshops, camps and college prep courses for kids and teens. Technology courses are held in Redmond, WA (near Seattle and Bellevue), and online.
