Students in the 2D Game Development workshop learn to apply concepts of math, physics, art, computer science, and music through hands-on activities that culminate in a variety of digital and non-digital games. Students will learn that game design is much more than a pastime - it is a challenging and fulfilling field that rewards passion, creativity, and hard work. Students will learn the game design process and mechanics, basic programming techniques, and how to produce art for games.
This course is open to students in Grades 4 through 7. There are no academic prerequisites for this course.

The tuition for Junior 2D Game Development is $595 per 16-week session. A $195 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining $400 must be paid by the registration deadline.
