Robots have been a subject of fascination and entertainment for generations, both in fiction and in real life. In this course, students learn about how actual robots move, see, touch, and hear. Guided by teachers, students will apply this theory to design, build, and program their own robotic creations. Students will learn simple mechanical systems, how robotics accomplish tasks, and how to program controllers.
All materials and books will be included in the additional course materials fee ($75), which is due upon registration, along with the $195 deposit.
This course is open to students in Grades K through 3. There are no academic prerequisites for this course.
Refer to the Homeschool Programs page for the 2016 - 2017 school year schedule.
