ProjectFUN Afterschool

ProjectFUN Afterschool is designed as an enrichment and exploratory opportunity for students in Grades 4-7. This unique program exposes students to a variety of disciplines, and teaches them how these disciplines come together. Students will explore their passion in multiple subject areas as they create a variety of hands-on projects.

  • Subjects: Video Game Programming, Art and Animation, Game Design, and Music and Sound Design.

Prerequisites

ProjectFUN Afterschool is open to students in Grade 4 through Grade 7.

Location

ProjectFUN Afterschool is a 12-week program (36 hours total) held on Wednesdays at DigiPen’s Redmond, WA campus (9931 Willows Road NE, Redmond, WA 98052).

Schedule for 2017 - 2018

ProjectFUN Afterschool will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be a student drop-off period from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., during which time enrichment activities will be offered

Fall Dates:

September 13, 2017 - December 6, 2017*
*There will be no class on November 22.

Times:

Wednesdays, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. drop-off period.
A snack will be provided for students during ProjectFUN Afterschool.

Registration Deadline:

September 6, 2017

Spring Dates:

January 24, 2018 - April 25, 2018*
*There will be no class on March 21 and April 4.

Times:

Wednesdays, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. drop-off period.
A snack will be provided for students during ProjectFUN Afterschool.

Tuition

The tuition for ProjectFUN Afterschool is $595 per 12-week session. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining $495 must be paid by September 6, 2017 for fall and January 17, 2018 for spring.

DigiPen's ProjectFUN offers workshops, camps and college prep courses for kids and teens. Technology courses are held in Redmond, WA (near Seattle and Bellevue), and online.
